Michelle Lauritsen sculpts and creates playful characters. She enjoys incorporating new mediums into her work, adding whimsical features and unique textures that are reminiscent of her childhood. Inspired by her ice carving father and her folk art contemporaries, Michelle Lauritsen has been making paperclay and paper mache since 2010 for her A Pinch of Prim line of original figures. Her goal is to bring a smile to the face of everyone who sees her designs, in hopes that they will cherish her art as a keepsake for generations to come.
